When Tears Must Fall
When tears must fall
as often they will
after a very rough day
and I long for the still
who hears my call
and comes to me
in my time of need
When I need the comfort
of loving arms
to hold me until
the day that was bad
is finally over
and has come to an end
I seek comfort
in you my sweet friend
Of tender lips upon my lips
holding hands, touching
my fingertips
I need the touch
of strong hands
when I feel tired and lost
unwanted, bewildered
and unable to stand
so I turn to you, my friend
a gentle kiss, a smile
a tender loving embrace
sweet reassurance
that all will be well
and in you..I find solace

Why do we weep and worry so
When things go wrong and troubles grow?
Have we no faith to just believe
When sorrows cause our hearts to grieve?
We may not understand it all
When disappointments come to call,
But God has promised to be there
If we but call His name in prayer.
We know that He is on our side
For in our hearts He shall abide
Until the rivers cease to flow
And autumn winds refuse to blow.
For God is great; His word is true,
And there is nothing He can't do...
So rest assured that God is near
And wipe away that silver tear.
